Phnom Penh: The Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, Hang Chuon Naron, will preside over the inauguration ceremony of the "Wiki School" digital school system at the National Institute of Education on Tuesday morning.

The system has been developed by Poscar Digital, which is sponsoring four digital units to promote the governance and electronic management of the National Institute of Education, as it works to develop the kingdom’s digital economy.

Co-founder of Poscar Digital, Ngon Moore, says “Wiki School" was developed by a technical team of Cambodian scholars with nearly 20 years of experience in education and IT. Its purpose is to help schools manage reports quickly and reduce the publication time of notification reports with the help of the Wiki School mobile app.

The four sponsored units will be installed first at the Royal School of Administration, the New Generation School of Preah Sisowath High School, Phnom Penh Capital Hall and the Ministry of Information before being rolled out at other public and private schools. The company is currently cooperating with the Ministry of Education to provide distance learning facilities for primary to high school children. It is also developing capabilities for higher education institutions as well.
